Our Mission

Our primary objective is to furnish a glimpse of hope and cater to the fundamental requirements of children affected by incarceration. We strive to offer them an opportunity for a life as close to normal as possible

About Us

Touching one child at a time

Behold the KBC Mumbalanga Prisons Foundation, a beacon of hope for the young souls grappling with the shadows of incarceration. Our Foundation, born of a selfless creed, seeks to uplift children facing the trials of life within prison walls. With a noble heart and steadfast dedication, we strive to weave spells of comfort and care for these young ones, offering them the light of hope amidst the darkness.

Our Services

Psychosocial Support
Our psychosocial support programs for incarcerated women and children include counselling services and therapeutic activities, such as art and music, to promote emotional healing and growth.

Educational Support

KBC provides tailored educational programs for incarcerated women and their children, including
basic literacy skills and early childhood education, to enhance successful reintegration into society and provide a strong educational foundation for
children born and raised in prison

Recreational Activities

Our recreational activities include promoting physical activity, teamwork, and a sense of normalcy through sports and games, and encouraging creative
expression and exploration of imagination through arts and crafts

Material Support

The foundation aims to enhance the living conditions and quality of life for incarcerated women and their children through material support programs. These programs include basic needs provision such as clothing, hygiene products, and nutritious meals, as well as skill development workshops to teach practical skills for securing a livelihood upon release
